With over 25 years’ experience in formulating transparent epoxy casting systems, WWA eco resin meets the most exacting requirements and benefits from the latest advances in this field: low viscosity, exceptional transparency and excellent UV resistance.
Versatile and inspiring, WWA resin is a two-component system that can transform ordinary objects into true works of art.
It can be tinted with opaque pigments, inks, translucent dyes, and accepts the addition of various fillers such as fluorescent, opalescent, metallic, glitter, mother-of-pearl powder, fiberglass and many others.
With its unique properties and unrivalled quality, WWA is particularly suitable for artistic and decorative creations (jewelry, fashion accessories, river tables, table and counter tops, sculptures, works of art, modeling), professional casting or bonding projects (in joinery, design, interior architecture, furniture restoration, construction) and industrial applications (inclusions for microscope observation, prototyping, etc.).
WWA epoxy resin has excellent UV resistance, but the long-term yellowing of all epoxy resins is unavoidable. With the right products, such as optical bright UV retarder, you can slow it down considerably.
NB: The use of epoxy resins requires specific protection, so do yourself a favor and protect yourself properly.

Refer to the calculator at the bottom of the page.
1 liter = 1.1 kg of resin AND 1.1 kg of resin will cover an area of 1m² by 1 mm.
To avoid exothermicity, we recommend not exceeding a volume of 3 to 5 liters in a single pour.
1. Choosing the right resin for my project:
WWA/ B7 for castings up to 1.5 cm thick
WWA/ B4 for castings up to 9 cm thick
2. Go to protective equipment:
Wear protective nitrile gloves and cover up, as the resin must never come into contact with the skin.
Use a respirator fitted with an ABEK1 filter.
3. Preparation of work surface and substrate:
Create a clean, dry, WELL-VENTILATED workspace with a stable ambient temperature (20-25°C).
Cover the work surface with plastic or newspaper to protect it from resin spills.
For casting in a rigid mold, use the appropriate release agent; for casting in a silicone mold, this is not necessary.
For river tables, it’s necessary to apply an epoxy resin primer to the wood to seal the surface, thus avoiding variations in finish caused by uneven absorption of the resin by the wood. Impregnation can also be carried out with WWA.
4. Measure the quantity of resin and hardener according to the mixing ratio recommended by the manufacturer:
By weight
WWA/B4: 100:40 (rigid version), 100:90 (flexible version)
WWA/B7: 100:45
By volume
WWA/B7:2:1
5. Mix thoroughly to obtain a perfectly homogeneous blend:
Resin is a precise product, so it’s essential to give it the attention it needs to achieve good results.
Mix gently and carefully with a stirring rod for 3 to 5 minutes, scraping down the sides and bottom of the cup to even out the mixture.
Transfer the mixture to a second clean beaker and continue stirring to ensure perfect homogeneity.
6. Pigments and additives:
Be creative by adding opaque epoxy pigments, translucent colorants, glitter or other inclusions to your resin mix. Experiment with different combinations to achieve the colors and effects you want for your project.
7. Pour the resin slowly and thinly over the lowest point.
Pour the mixed resin into the mold slowly and evenly to minimize the formation of bubbles.
The volume of resin that can be poured in one go without risk of excessive exotherm depends on the geometry of the part. Smaller, thinner pours dissipate the heat generated by the exothermic reaction more effectively. Castings must be of equal thickness (e.g. 2cm + 2cm +2 cm, not 3cm +1cm +2.5 cm).
8. Hardening
Allow the resin to cure at room temperature for the specified curing time (72 hours).
Make sure the room is protected from dust during this period.
Temperature and casting thickness can influence drying time.
9. Sand if necessary and varnish the resin to restore its transparency.
Once unmolded, you can sand and polish the piece to a perfect finish.
An additional protective coating can be applied depending on the nature of the project.
Applying a gloss varnish to a matt surface will restore its shine and transparency, while providing a good level of protection.
1. Mechanical method: Gently insert a tool into the resin to help bubbles rise to the surface.
2. Thermal method: Using a small flashlight, bring the flame close to the resin, making sure there is NO DIRECT CONTACT BETWEEN THE FLAME AND THE RESIN, otherwise premature yellowing will occur.
In the presence of humidity, a chemical reaction occurs on the surface of the epoxy resin: amine blueing.
This phenomenon manifests itself as white spots or a thin, whitish layer, compromising the aesthetics and quality of the resin. To avoid this problem, it’s vital to keep the epoxy AWAY FROM MOISTURE during curing, especially during the first 14 days.
Beware of undesirable reactions if casting volume is too high.
It is essential to consult the technical data sheet for maximum casting thicknesses and recommended mass effects.
Maximum thicknesses are generally specified for cylindrical shapes, for example, a cylinder 15 cm deep and 15 cm in diameter.
For projects such as a river table, where the width of the pour can reach 100 cm, we recommend not exceeding 2 cm thickness per pour, and proceeding in several equal layers.
DO NOT GET ON SKIN. Wear gloves, goggles, safety clothing and ABEK1 respiratory protection.
For more information, ask for the safety data sheet.
To calculate the quantities and proportions of resin you’ll need, specify the shape you want to make and its dimensions.
