Fast-curing, two-component, solvent-free epoxy repair paste. This product can be used for fast, effective repairs to metal, GRP and plastic surfaces.
106 Metal Repair Paste XF can be applied to manually or mechanically prepared surfaces and will dry in 45 minutes.

1. All oil and grease must be removed from the surface using a suitable cleaner such as MEK.
2. All surfaces should be cleaned using a wire brush, metal file, coarse sandpaper, etc.
3. Once abraded, the surface must be degreased and cleaned with MEK or a similar product.

1. All oil and grease must be removed from the surface using a suitable cleaner such as MEK.
2. All surfaces must be mechanically abraded using hand grinders to ISO 8501/4 ST3 (SSPC SP3 ST3).
3. Once abraded, the surface must be degreased and cleaned with MEK or a similar product.
4. All surfaces must be coated before earwax or oxidation appears.
Before mixing, please check the following points:
1. The base component is at a temperature of 15-25°C.
2. Ambient and surface temperature above 5°C.
Once these two checks have been carried out, proceed with mixing the product.
If you are partially mixing the material unit, please follow the instructions below:
1. Using the spatula supplied, place an equal measure of the base and activator units on the mixing table provided.
2. Be sure to clean the spatula thoroughly after measuring the base component and before measuring the activator component.

3. Mix the two components until you obtain a streak-free mixture (medium grey) on the mixing chart.
4. Make sure there is no unmixed material on the spatula or mixing table.
5. Once mixing has begun, the material must be used within 5 minutes at 20°C.
1. Using a spatula or applicator tool, apply the material to the prepared surface.
2. Ensure that the product is pressed into any holes, scars or cracks.
3. Once the repair is complete, smooth out any imperfections with a gloved hand.
At 20°C, applied materials should be allowed to harden for the times indicated below before being subjected to the conditions indicated.
These times will be extended at lower temperatures and reduced at higher temperatures:
Service life 5mins
Dry hard/machining 45 minutes
Full cure 4 hours
Minimum – the applied material can be covered as soon as it is dry to the touch.
Maximum – covering time must not exceed 4 hours.
Once the maximum recovery time has been exceeded, allow the material to harden before sanding to remove surface contamination.
Mixed material – Medium grey
Basic component – Black
Activator component – white
5 years if unopened and stored under normal dry conditions (15-30°C/ 60-86°F).
